I moved the first major load of my stuff into the new place, including some of the small furniture.
My bedroom is finally painted, we replaced the ceiling fan so it doesn't sound like it will be falling on my head. We will (hopefully) move some of the larger furniture on wednesday. The kitchen is wonderful, and my kittens are coming along well.
On a happy note, my friend is insistent on providing me the 12 days of birthday. He took me to two really neat concerts and got a bunch of star autographs for me. I got to see Sarah Buxton, Chris Young, Randy Hauser, and Lady Antebellum. I also went to the Brad Paisley and Dierks Bently concert. That was a lot bigger and harder to see, but wonderful to hear. A friend of his gave him som Buffalo meat, and he brought it to my house and cooked dinner for all of us (and brought a birthday cake). It was delicious. There has been other fun, but I won't go into it here. I think that by the 28th (the actual date) I will be ready for a break. On the 29th I have a craft fair where I will be able to sell my jewelry. As the summer winds down, some people are starting to think about christmas presents, so I am hoping to do better than I have at past shows at this venue.
