PROGRESS

While I have not joined the Knitting olympics, I have been knitting like an olympian. I have now done (in less than 2 weeks) 1 scarf, 8 hats, 1 vest, and a single mitten for DULAAN. Needless to say, I feel productive. That mitten is my first ever.

Also, I have a peice of REALLY good news. I have been invited to an interview to with the Earlham MAT program. so all of you at or near Earlham, I will be in town around March 11, and could maybe use a place to crash.

fibery- I have also started my first double knitting project. It is two layers that are knitted at the same time, and they interlock when I switch the yarns (when the front is purple, the back is multi, and vice versa). so the front is purple with a pattern in the multi and the back is the opposite. It is really slow going, but really cool.
I have also done a few more inches on the loom. I will try to to post some pictures to my picture trail website. I have finished a total of 1 table runner and 1 placemat so far on this warp.

I hope people are doing as well as I feel at the moment.
