SO here's a small update:
Been working on setting up the basement as a sweet studio for me paint, draw, and do digital art and it's been pretty good. Other than the basement itself needing some work, the place is getting pretty clean. There's tons of old papers and stuff that Dave and his Mom have to go through which they started last night but other than that the big things are the laundry room and getting the couches in here. It should turn into a really nice space where we can have people over and have a productive place to play music and all that jazz. On another note,. I've actually been trying to introduce meat into my system over the past few weeks. I found that not only was being a gluten free vegetarian leaving me completely malnourished, but was also keeping me from losing weight. I found that already I'm more energized, eat less, and I wake up earlier. My circulation is better, I'm healing faster, and I'm already starting to lose weight again. I've only been eating free range organic stuff, which is a little pricey, but seeing as I'm eating less it makes for a good start, and it keeps my soul in tact. I started with chicken broth, chicken and fish, and I'm just putting bits and pieces in meals while still primarily having big vegetarian dinners. I feel like that's the best way to start good habits. I don't think my brutal Scottish genes can take much more of only eating veggies, rice, and tofu everyday. I figured it was time to bite the bullet and make the choice. I was meant to be a carnivore, and as I get older, I just can't keep it going.
