Well we.. We had these snails that could communicate to each other through electric signals or something or another, and scientists manipulated those waves so people could talk to each other over long distances. Through the snails I mean.

But.. That doesn't make sense at all. It should be that because the person's not here anymore that they can't use the communications systems, not the other way around!
