Remember me?
I remembered today that I had a Livejournal, and that it had been far too long since I'd written in it. I miss LJ! I miss all my LJ buddies! I even miss the fandoms! I don't even know which of my old friends is on here anymore, that's kinda sad.*sigh*
Anyway, as far as I go, I've been out here in LA now for two years. I finally finished my Master's Degree and am blissfully unemployed at the moment, though that'll have to change soon if I don't want to be tossed out on my can by my landlord. I moved from the heart of Hollywood, to the 'burbs of Glendale where life is much more tranquil and satisying and I pay the same amount for a two-bedroom townhouse that I once did for a studio in Hollywood. Go figure. I now have two adorable puddy-tats named Puck and Peaseblossom, and life is good, it's happy. I still miss home alot. This city is fun and exciting and it's where I have to be if I want to work in this industry, but no one seems real. It's not a cliché. I long to meet geeks, people who aren't afraid to be like, "yeah, I enjoy things that aren't mainstream, I know how to read, I don't spend more money on jeans than I do on food". Yeah, that part of it all is rough, but still, I get to meet crazy famous people! And oh, what fun they are!*snicker*
Can I also express to you all how big a fan I am now of Battlestar Galactica? No, I don't think it's possible. Amazingly enough, not a big fan of Sci-Fi...yet LOVE the BSG.
I still follow all my HP news with a fervor bordering on obsession..ok, who am I kidding, it's long since been obsession. I miss talking about it with you guys:). I'll try and catch up on your lives in the days to come and I hope you're all doing extraordinarily well!
