A Quickie
My life thus far:
Looove love loooove my new job. I love the people I work with, I love my office, I love my boss, I love that I know have an amazing understanding of how to do most of my job. I love it so much that I'm not entirely crushed that I haven't been going to Chatsworth. (Sorry) Only cause I haven't gone, not cause I haven't had the time. I stayed home sick today though, & the great thing was, I wasn't getting called, I wasn't lying in bed thinking of all the work I have to do, because, as far as I can tell, I am ahead of the game by a week. I keep giving myself busy work, finding new things to do, new things for Diane to show me. And, with the pay raise, the odds of my being in my own place by the end of the year, looks very good. Of course, I do feel the need to buy tickets to go see Audioslave in May... ooooohhhh Audioslave....*drools*
Had a GREAT time Saturday with Angela at the Candy Canyon, as usual, & at dinner. Seliene went with us, and was having fun for a while there. Then got into her usual routine & we decided to ignore it & just have fun, waiting her out. I mean, if you're out with friends & you're ready to go home, you'd tell them, right? Instead of sitting there & pouting? Cause that just fueled us to stay longer & order more drinks. Evil? Maybe. Deserved? Yup.
FINALLY watched all of eternal sunshine...that Jim Carrey. I think he's so great in serious roles. Sreiously. And Kate Winslet was wonderful & oh I just loved the whole thing. I must have it. Okay, that's all from me. I'm dull lately. Sorry. :0)
