Series: The BLEACH Reality Series 4.1
Title: Only You
Author: Perverted Priestess 69
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: HET, AU, D/s Themes, OCC
Summary: Time is passing and Grimmjow and Mina are at a standstill. Things are coming to reality in this dream. Do these two have what it takes to be together?
Vocab: Release form (Resurrection): This is a more advanced state the Arrancar can change into. It unleashes a higher and more powerful version of their talents and abilities. It’s usually a more dangerous and potent state of physical nature that unleashes high rates of spiritual energy. Gigai: A corporeal embodiment (a host body) for a spirit to enter so as for living people to see them. It is created for a spirit it never has a spirit in it already. It’s a generic until a being gives it form.
Bleach fact: Only people with strong spiritual pressure (reiatsu) can see such beings as Shinigami, Hollow/Arrancar and Vizards, otherwise to be seen an entity one would need a host I.e. a gigai.
Disclaimer: I don’t own BLEACH or any of it’s most sexy characters, Kubo Tite does. I just enjoy bending them to my will and then making them lick, suck… well you get the picture. Mina and Kamden Ikari are my original characters.
Word Count: 4203
Forethought: This is heavy expository and I’m pretty sure all of it’s necessary. Well, maybe 98% of it! Thanks to Jill Scott for the title, it’s very fitting given the circumstances of this little ditty right here. And the song set the mood up nicely for things to flow the way they did. BTW, Thanks to Eric and his brother for the proverbial nudge I needed to get the ball rolling again. Little did I know this series had more to say than just fun fill smex! Not that fuel for the fire isn’t wanted though. After all, firebugs like me like the loving too, right? XD Enjoy!
I
Time isn’t standing still.
Time is telling me to run.
Time waits for no man.
But I’m not a man…
Will it wait for me?
When Mina woke, she found herself safe in her bed. She was in her nightgown, her dreds were tied. The bed was warm and she was comfortable in it. She thought it was all a dream; or more of a nightmare… come to life. Somewhere inside her head, but when she tried to move the horrifying reality came back.
What’s happening to me?” She said closing her eyes.
As she raised her arms from under the sheets she saw the all too harsh cruelty on them. Scabbed over cuts, vicious bruises and an unrelenting pain that wasn’t letting up. She was raw, she was oh so raw and the tears rushed back into her all over again. Her heart sped up and all at once her breathing became paced. She had to be calm. She had to… She didn’t know what she had to do. She had no idea how to deal with this.
As she sat up on the side of the bed her head swam. It was an intense throbbing of pain going through both her shoulders and her stomach felt cursed. As she sat collecting herself, she could hear the faint remnants of voices. Three to be exact. Grimmjow’s, another man’s and a woman’s.
“This is dangerous Grimmjow.” Halibel said in dark tone.
“Shh! What happened after I left?” He asked.
“Aizen-sama requested inquiry into your, friend. He wants to know why she has been coming to begin with and who she is. It was only going to be a matter of time before he found out anyway!“ Halibel clarified.
“What the fuck’s it to him!?” Grimmjow growled.
“Grimmjow, you just killed his fifth seat and as admirable and valiant as your reasoning, I do believe he means to reprimand you for it. And we all know how that worked out last time.” Stark stated plainly, referring to Kaname Tosen lopping off his arm.
“At any rate all the Espada and our Fraccions have been ordered to bring you in on sight.” Halibel interjected.
“Shit! I wasn’t expecting this! At least not this soon.” Grimmjow mulled.
“I don’t know what you could have possibly been thinking would come of killing Nnoitra!” Halibel went on.
Grimmjow and Stark looked at her sharply.
“But I suppose, it was to be the way of things.” She continued.
“That bitch deserved to die! He just sealed his fate when he touched Mina!” Grimmjow snarled.
Halibel and Stark watched the blue man’s anger boil over him. His face carried a seriousness neither of them had seen in Grimmjow before.
“At any rate, it was worth it!” He said in a low tone. “I’ll come back
as soon as I’m sure that she’s OK.”
Mina spied the three Espada standing in the middle of the living room continuing there conversation. She slid to the floor when her legs gave out and tried to make sense of the whole thing. Grimmjow is in trouble now and this was all because of her. She sat there for moments before a tall shadow loomed over her from the hallway.
“I‘m sorry Grimm. I’m… so sorry! I never meant for any of this. I don’t know what happened.”
“You have nothing to apologize to me for.” He said as he squatted next to her. She looked at him in a tense way which was almost at the verge of tears. A guilt filling her and his hands reached out to stroked her face. He lifted her from the floor and took her back to the bed and he sat next to her on it.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with me… I don’t know what’s causing all this. I never meant to disrupt your life like this.” She went on.
“You called me Mina. That means something to me, girl. This was a good thing! And to be real with you, I think there’s a reason for this. I’m not going to fight it and neither should you!” Grimmjow expressed in a serious tone.
She sat for a while staring at the floor wondering about the missing time. Wondering about Grimmjow.
“I… I have a problem with words like those you said earlier, not so much from you but those words in general. You know, love in the past for me was never truly that. It was always something else. Always a fuckin’ four letter word. Grimmjow, I respect you. I respect what you said to me, but I can‘t return these words to you, at least not yet.” She explained to him hesitantly.
She didn’t know what to expect, her heart was pounding loud into her ears. She was so nervous at what his response what be.
“Mina, don’t say it then. I really just wanted you to know how I felt. I want you to be comfortable and I wanted you to know something else about me. I still stand by my words and they’ll always be yours.” He said, comforting her. “When you do say it, that is if it’s what you desire, I want you to mean it! OK?” Her face caressed by rough fingers. She leaned into them. His fingers pressed over her lips raggedly and her tongue came out to greet them. She felt so much better when he touched her, when she touched him. It felt right in a way she couldn’t quite explain and, she couldn‘t understand why she was like this to him.
“Don’t go back. Stay here with me. Don’t let Aizen take you away from me.”
“I’ll stay as long as you need me, girl. If that‘s forever then so be it!”
II
Two months later and things seemed to be getting to normal yet again except, this time a new addition has since come into play. Living with Grimmjow proved to be an event in and of itself. There’s a lot she’s learned about being with him 24/7. He loves to read and though in this aspect they are quite similar, she had to admit he was a little deeper than she expected. He liked poetry, he was into Marxism/Leninism which shocked the shit out her, and he could eat, if he wanted to but he didn‘t like the feeling of eating real food. He was use to cannibalization and the taste of anything other than a soul or other hollows threw him off. That idea really flipped her off her square. It really brought a new meaning to “You are what you eat.”
He wasn’t new to the real and living world but he was behind on some stuff and up on others. She knew he was waaay behind on the concept of the internet but totally up on gaming. He loved combat and fighting games, like that was a such a surprise. His favorites were Assassin’s Creed, Halo, God of War, Ninja Gaiden and SOCOM. So, X-box had invaded her world to the hilt. He even loved Guitar Hero and the two of them played that the most. Half the time it was into the wee hours of the morning granted but it was something they did together. She was constantly learning something new about him.
He’d even gotten a job as a bouncer at one of the live clubs in the city. That is after he and Stark acquired a gigai for him from Szayel Aporro. It turned out that it wasn’t as hard as he and Stark first perceived to get the Octava Espada to create the gigai. He found Szayel was able to create it to inhibit the appearance of his jawbone portion of his hollow mask while in it. The only thing was he’d never be able to lose his hole, it was as prominent as his mask but far too delicate to modify. He could just chalk the rest of the stuff up to getting tatted and unique body modifications. She had to admit, things were going well and by no measure getting boring. But somewhere in the mix there was a feeling looming that the scientist was not as close to Grimmjow as Stark or Halibel. Somehow her trust was not in him as it was in Stark. Stark seemed lazy but the cover was never the measure of the book.
She even was finding that having someone to come home to at the end of the day was awesome. Not many people knew this side of Grimmjow and she felt it a privilege that he let her see so much of him this way. There was one issue she had yet to address. They hadn’t more than kissed since he’s been here and maybe a little intimate touching but, when it got close to sex she‘d push him away. She also knew he wouldn’t be a complete asshole about it either.
Nnoitra messed her up and now because of that bastard she couldn’t be intimate with the one she wanted. She’d been working harder and later since the finals were here. She had three classes too read papers for not to mention recommendations and lesson plans to set. It almost seemed fitting that Grimmjow was working nights as it allowed her to work on matters at school but still the gap was growing wider by the day. They say each other less and when they were in the bed together the distance was apparent even when they were face to face.
