Wow, that was scorching hot!

The mirror was interesting. However, I don't think it's going to have the long term effect Spike wants. I think Xander *seeing* how far he's surrendered to Spike will force himself to do something he thinks he 'should' do (escape) rather than just doing what he 'wants' (lie back and enjoy being Spike's pet).

I notice Spike actually calls Xander 'Xan' once, rather than 'pet' or 'whelp'. I'm not sure if this is the first time Spike's done that or if it's just the first time I've noticed. Have to go re-read to find out! :-)

As for vamp!Xan, I've no doubt it would be hot but the essence of Xander is in his very human responses. I'd hate to lose that.

Actually, thinking about it, Xander's changed immeasurably since the beginning of this fic. I wonder if we'll see Spike grow or change.
