So yeah, for anyone who actually gives a shit, we've finally connected the internet back up in my place. And now we need to debate some connection charges because Advanced Cable Communications decided that they needed to send out two techs for something that could have been done over the phone and literally took less then ten minutes in total to do. The first tech came to make sure that we had connected the cable properly (which he only turned on the TV and power cycled my modem to do) and was actually quite surprised when he learned we had bought our own cable modem...which we told them multiple times that we did, thus no need for a tech to come out in the first fucking place. The first tech then sagely decided that the only reason why we weren't getting a connection was because the modem wasn't registered and to call tech support to register the mac address. When we do, guess what? They need to send another tech to register the mac address. TO REGISTER THE FUCKING MAC ADDRESS THEY NEEDED TO SEND SOMEONE OUT! This is in an apartment where two overthephone techs live and one former internet overthephone tech lives. And the guy just came out, registered the modem, and that was fucking it! And they are charging us for both things, even though we were trying to tell them each fucking time that we called to order it that we didn't need a tech to come out. That we had connected everything properly, that we only needed to register the mac address. GODS MOTHERFUCKING.....UGH!!!! Safe to say, come tomorrow Zoe (who's name it's under) is going to personally go to the Advance Cable Communications offices and have a little word with them about their extorsionist policies.
Sorry about that. Had to get it out of my system.
But yeah, what's been going on with Ed since he's last updated? Well, for one the essay is still not done. Yeah, I know, I am a lazy fucker. Other then that, I've just been working, going out, and hanging out. Except for this weekend, it seems that each weekend for the past month I've been going out to concerts, parties, ect. I personally have been loving it. Assemblege 23 kicked ass, as did Subhumans...even though I had twisted my ankle, the one fetish party I went to was pretty sweet. And then during the weekdays, I work and when I get off work I was heading down to Java D'Lights to smoke a hookah with a few friends.
Yeah....wow, I just realized how boring my life is sounding. Eh, oh well. I'm enjoying it at the moment. We finally casted circle within this apartment on the 22nd and since then it's been feeling like home at last. And it's always good to start remaking your connections within the music scenes you love. Yes, I am still single, but that still isn't bothering me. Like, part of me wants to be with someone, even if it's short term, and most of me is content even being without someone. Only downfall I've had is for two weeks my health had a streak of bad luck. I would get sick, get better, get injuried, get better, and then get sick again. Caused me to miss nearly five days of work in total because of how bad it was. Safe to say, my paycheck suffered, but if everything continues to go according to plan, this next check should bounce me right back up on my feet again.
Oh, did some new work recently. I need to get it up online once I determine what is actually new work and what is work that was already posted. As for the band thing with Greg, as everyone expected, that fell through. Eh, oh well.
But yeah, I am gonna go now as I am mildly hung over and need to eat breakfest. Next time I post, it shall be new work.
