nothing really

So I was pulling beets in my garden yesterday with and then cooking them for dinner with the warm glowy feeling that I GREW something that we were going to EAT!  but then i thought about gardening a little more and realized that it has actually made me more SCARED about food because now I realize how hard it is to grow it.  IM, I've been gardening pretty seriously for 5 years now in a pretty big plot (40'x50') and it's enough that the stars of idealism (or whatever) have fallen from my eyes and I know that actually growing enough food to feed 3 people (and especially without outside seed sources) would take so much work and even then be subject to the vagaries of fate like no rain/bad weather/f-ing deer &rabbits.  It is almost enough to make me understand religion...though probably will never really understand why people actually believe that crap lovely old story.  Yes so, instead of feeling more food-secure I am now become food-insecure so why don't you all join me in a prayer that our industrial food system doesn't break down? yay!

Hum...my apologies to religious Fs...am not really so Anti-God as all that, just anti religious based stupidness which seems to be increasingly common during an election cycle.

Lucas: About stalking women you have known in the past with your spy skillz and secret databases.  DON"T.  It's creepy.  I'm seeing a pattern, and I don't like it.  Also, don't the British have any man-names other than John?

I do like Beth though.  She's cool.  Good call keeping her on your team plus that way when your background inevitably comes out you can point to her and be like, see! she turned out ok!  Lying isn't that bad after all!  (Is it just me or are all of the good guys on Spooks just as self-interested as the bad guys?)

And BTW Home Secretary: Harry is always right.  Remember it.  Don't even argue.

And lastly, here's a Spooks poll:

Poll Lucas & women
