(no subject)
So yeah, after like ten years of not journalling (maybe a slight over exaggeration...) I decided to check this thing. To update would be an incredible amount of work, so maybe just the short version! I was on drill team, so every Sunday Derek and I drove out to the ranch, got into trouble with Elsa (not real trouble, but yes, boy trouble, ahem...) and other trouble (like taking off on the horses with Derek, when we were suposed to stick around, OOPS! lol) And all this for open house, which was really fun, but hot... I got my first flat tire, which Derek helped me change, that was fun, really, it was because there was a pool of water in my trunk with a tennis ball floating around, and I paid Derek with a lego sword that I found...
There have been tests galore at school, as well as nice chats with Sheena, a tarantula in my chemistry classroom, extremely bad hair in physics (courtesy of a vandergraaph machine) and some other extremely hysterical moments. On the subject of school, I GOT ACCEPTED TO UBC!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!! I got my package in the mail today, so I'm super dooper stoked about that.
Last weekend was great, it was an absolute blast even though my knee was in pain (I got trampled by a horse the previous Tuesday, that was fun, involved a doctor's trip and x rays, but at least I got to miss some school...) Kara, Derek, Kim and Deanna were there, so it was bound to be a fun time... Especially trying to decided who I'm going to ask to grad AHHH! lol... Then on the way home Derek and I had our most serious conversation yet, which was fun, I 'spose... We usually fight, sing and talk about trucks, but we actually had a conversation about something important which was great...
On Monday I went to Soul Food at Peace Portal with Derek, Kim, Deanna, Elsa, Jessica, Christina and someone else who I dont' really know... It was super funny because I wasn't really supposed to be there, because it is "college and career" but I'm SO relieved that I did... It was exactly what I needed. It's so amazing how God provides you with the things you need right when you need them...So yeah, fun stuff, and akward moment on the way home, but I won't bore you with those details.
So yeah, I usually leave my cell phone on, because only once has someone ever called me past 10, but last night I got woken up at like 12, to the ringing of my cell phone... I jump out of bed, from my cozy sleepingness, and look at my caller ID, and who was it? It was Micheal Findlay Beneke returning my call from like a week and half before! ERG! Some people are insane. Lol...
Anyways, I should get going, I'll try to be better about journalling....
