Happy Winterthing, y'all! I'm off to North Carolina for a Christmas adventure (hopefully a warmish one), and I have no idea what my internet access will be like until I get back in time for New Year's, so probably no postings (or reading, or email) until after. (Whatever will you all do without knowing what music I'm listening to? *grin* Hint: since I'll be driving a lot, you'd better believe I'll be singing at the top of my lungs, enjoying how I'm not irritating my neighbors, most likely to the Nields. Awesome!)
I'm a little sad to leave NYC... it's been an exceptionally lovely holiday so far here (anarchist_nomad, I'm letting you do the write-up of our Manhattan holiday adventures, because I have to pack and meet with a couple of people before I leave, plus you'll probably be better at being more thorough... but needless to say, our adventures were quite fun indeed). But I'm keeping in mind all the wonderful people I miss in NC (erikharrison, can you believe we haven't seen each other since May?), and listening to Squirrel Nut Zippers, which makes it much easier.
