(005) Archiving - kficrevolution fics

Some fics written for kficrevolution. I tried expanding these, but it didn't work out.

1. Luna/Krystal; Krystal makes the first move. Luna follows suit.

Luna looks so vulnerable, so enabling like this, so Krystal leans in tentatively, then bites her lips and eventually presses a light kiss on Luna's lips. She's not expecting from a response, favorable or not - kissing a sleeping person is crazy enough, as it is.

But Luna returns the kiss.

2. Jaejoong/Changmin; Changmin has excellent muscle memory. He refuses to use it on Jaejoong, though.

"You didn't make me go here just for kicks, did you?" Changmin asks. It's crazy cold outside and he isn't really prepared for a long talk. "Because really, if you did just that I'll be going now."

"No, Changmin, wait-"

"I said-"

Jaejoong grips him by the wrist, shortening the distance between them to just a few centimeters. It's been so long since they've last been so close, so real, and when Jaejoong's hands grip on his coat tentatively, almost hesitantly, Changmin cannot help but hold his breath.

"Don't... do that." The puffs of smoke are colder than the usual. "Please."

"Then, can I do this?" Jaejoong reaches up, tracing the angled plane of his face, the touch sending shivers down his spine. Jaejoong then tiptoes and the tip of noses touch. Then it all comes back to Changmin - months of ignoring each other, of not keeping in touch, Jaejoong's smile, laughter, Jaejoong's silliest quirks, Jaejoong Jaejoong Jaejoong. All of these Changmin soon disregards in favor of Jaejoong's lips, the open press of the latter's mouth more welcoming now more than ever.

3. Ash/Misty; New regions means new beginnings.

So. Unova. An entirely new region with new Pokemon, a beginning, a second chance - actually, his fourth - at starting a new. It's been four years since he and Misty have parted ways and he still hasn't fully processed everything.

There's no resolution, no confrontation. It made things more complicated, when in fact they weren't.

Ash shuns the thought away and proceeds to making his way to Nuvema Town. They're almost there, and he can almost feel the scent of a better beginning.

Yes, this will be so much better than before. He'll forget Misty and everything that happened in the past.

And maybe, he'll stop being the ten-year-old he really isn't.

4. Green/Red; Red signs himself up for a battle with Green. Green tries to fit Red in his very busy schedule.

Green and Red were the best of friends before everything happened. They were happy little kids - they'd play in Red's room and Red's mom would make them cookies everyday at 5. They'd even sleep over at each other's houses sometimes. Then they hit the age of ten and everything changed.

His grandfather started favoring Red over him.

He couldn't blame the old man, though. Red was a natural; he had this innate skill and talent that got him far and even made him the champion. Red had the skill to beat the crap out of him, and he had realized this too late.

He balled his fists. Defeat stung harder than it should.

"I missed battling with you, you know." There was a sad smile on Red's lips. "I wish we can do this again."

Green chuckled. "I doubt it. You're a busy man."

"Hey, I'm never too busy for you."

Green held his breath. He'd never expected something like this to come from Red.

"I said, I'm never too busy for you."

"I'll think about it." Green turned around quickly and hauled his bag over his shoulder. "I'll look for you if I feel like battling. Be ready."

Red chuckled. "I'm always ready."

He didn't have to look over his shoulder to know that Red was smiling that rather awkward smile of his. They'd been friends long enough for him to know what Red was thinking about just by listening to him, just by feeling the steady rise and fall of his chest.

He bid his friend goodbye before he could even regret walking away.
