"I've been constantly reminding you every single day, so why don't you have the manuscripts yet?"
Kibum balled his fists as he scanned the room, the figures of his unfazed co-editors frustrating him all the more. He knew for a fact that being the officer-in-charge of the month magazine was hard, but he didn't think it would be this hard. He was sure he'd been doing everything right - he followed deadlines, coordinated with the printers properly, motivated his co-editors right, so he didn't understand why they still failed to meet the deadline.
"Stop playing around with the poor kid, guys," Jinki commented. "You're causing him too much trouble."
"Well, you're the one to talk." Jonghyun scoffed. "Your author is a serial offender. He always misses the deadlines."
Jinki chuckled. "I made sure there was enough time for him to slack off. I should have the manuscripts in today."
"Oh, thank God!" A wave of relief suddenly washed over Kibum. He knew for a fact that Jinki's author was one of the more delinquent ones, so finding out that the author would be done just in time was more than enough to brighten up his day. "Just leave them on my desk when you get them, okay?"
"Yup, got that."
"Jinki, you've got a fax." Taemin handed Jinki a piece of paper, and Kibum watched in horror as the smile on Jinki's face turned upside down.
It was not a good sign.
"Excuse me, Mr. Choi. I have to hunt down my author and beat him up the first chance I get." Jinki stuffed his things in his bag, then turned to Kibum. "I'm sorry, Kibum, but it looks like the manuscript will be delayed."
"Wha-"
Jinki left even before Kibum could react. Minho took the liberty to reply to Kibum's interrupted complaint.
"The printers are playing around with you. You are seriously a hopeless case." (Minho/Key; Sekaiichi Hatsukoi)

Unlike many journeys, theirs starts when they're 18, and Woohyun's birthday present gets delivered in his house instead of getting picked up at Professor Mithra's lab. (Woohyun; Pokemon)

"I can't believe that guy! He's a monster!"
Jonghyun holds his breath as Jinki tries to get up after getting hit by Taecyeon's forehand in his left knee. "That's illegal, right? He can't do that!"
Minho puts a hand on his shoulder. "It's useless. They won't call him out for it."
"It's okay. I can still play." Jinki's now back on his feet, and he's smiling at the team. "Trust me on this."
Jonghyun doesn't understand what Jinki's up to, especially when Jinki positions himself as if he's going to do an underhand serve. "He's crazy," Jonghyun mumbles, especially when Jinki serves an ace.
Kibum blinks twice. "Did that ball just... disappear?" (Onew, Key, Jonghyun; Prince of Tennis)

It's not something Sunyoung is used to doing, standing so close to a man he might probably be in love with and finding it hard to stay calm, so she takes Jinki's hand and squeezes it tight until all the words in her head form a cohesive sentence.

Jinki thinks it's crazy that he's driving an ice cream truck across town just to catch up with Jonghyun and Amber, but really, really now, does he have a choice? The two are to be wed in a few minutes and he's just kissed Jonghyun a few minutes ago and God, is he really that stupid?
"I'm going after Jonghyun!" Jinki yells into the receiver. He's sure Kibum won't appreciate that, but he doesn't really care right now.
"What?"
"I said I'm going after Jonghyun!"
"Wait, wait, wait." There's a pause on the other end of the line for a while. "Jonghyun's chasing Amber. You're chasing Jonghyun. Who's chasing you?"
"What the hell are you saying?" Jinki takes a sharp turn and bypasses a traffic light. "I don't get it!"
"Of course, you don't! That's the point! No one's running after you, Jinki. Jonghyun isn't running after you."
Jinki's grip on his phone tightens, and he pulls over near a train station.
