Front Country shock
Well I am back from the adventure that is adventure therapy. It was an intense ride. I was lucky to have a fabulous group of kids to work with but, I struggled with my own confidence. I suppose that is normal for anyone in a new job. But the thing is that it is really intense when your shift lasts 3 weeks straight. It is tough to rebalance following stories of abandonment, gang rapes and armed drug deals from adolescents. I must say that it is ironic that one of the toughest parts of the experience is shopping. IT is trully intense to experience all of the propaganda and light pollution. Anyway, I am attempting to complete meetings and paperwork and soon my month at work will come to an end and I Will run off to the woods with my dog and occasionally work on the farm. What a bizarre ride life is.
