I can't believe I'm going to be abandoning my delightful little studio apartment in less than two months. Lately I've been thinking about all the awesome memories I have here, even after only one short year. Dance parties, intimate conversations, hot sex (yes, it's true), cooking escapades, clean-freakouts, cat fights, girls nights...It's surprising what revolutions take place in such short periods of time. If I have a similar year to look forward to after July, than I'd say I have a splended future.
Jordan and I went to Taka's for sushi today, and I had the most amazing lunch of my life. My official favorite rolls are those that involve eel, tempura and fresh salmon. *Swoon* I even converted my dear dear boy who, I sometimes suspect, has the palette of a southern baptist. That is, if religion and tastebuds intermingle.
As a result of not reading the newspaper and not having television, I am laughably out of the loop when it comes to world events or otherwise. Pop culture is as foreign to me as dixieland jazz, and reguarding the global power ratrace...I've been far too preoccupied with my personal little hamster wheel. Silveira would publicly shame me if he were to find out.
In case you're reading this, William Lund, take comfort in the small consolation that whenever the time rolls around to vote, you can always find me in front of the computer, frantically educating myself so that I may participate in this so called democracy.
Love love love you all, my little darlings!
