I am finally employed again, which is a huge huge relief. I'll be working full time at The Garden of Enchantment in old sac. My parents will end all financial support beginning in June, and I will truly become an independant woman. That's why I'm hoping to score that apartment in Curtis Park--it's a two bedroom with a balcony and stuff for only 600 bucks a month. If I get that, then I'm set.
The other day, Jordan and I had this big, silly fight, and I'm ecstatic to now be capable of giggling about it. It was our first big clash, so it shocked me more than was called for, I think. Oh well. I'm not used to having a boyfriend these days...I'm still slipping back into things. I sure do love that kid, though, so it makes things much easier.
Tomarrow is Mother's Day and i don't have a frigging present! Gah! What's a quick fix for this type of emergency when you only have five bucks?
Went to The Didley Squat/Killing Buddha show at Luna's this evening, and it was loads of fun. They even snuck me onto the guest list, thanks to the doorgirl.
As a final note, the new Charter album this year is unfortunately lacking. Some of the songs are okay, but it seems like they pulled a famous last minute rush. Poor kids. I was especially appalled at how Adrian's song is almost a direct ripoff of a certain Oasis song. Ugh...it disgusts me that SNR did an article on him. "I would definately consider my songs to be christian songs."
