The Creator strings Its lights across the extremities. When not shining at night, they glisten, trapped within the rays of a newly found sun's subatomic gaze. The day gets brighter as the sun sinks, millions of reflections of the universe amplifying the apex of each branch, leaf, and blade.

Under the awning, we gasp, stupefied by what the runoff has created. Dozens of miniature ecosystems in suspended animation, columns curved with weight, an army of exhausted, temporary stalagmites.
