The effects spread like ripples mired in swamp, the solid objects, residents, of which interfering with the long flowing arches, lending a new deformation to honest, binary interactions. The interference patterns create their own ripples, affect a life of their own, travel in slow curious rumors, further distorting the facsimile of the water's contours at its locus.

At the focus, a deformity shoulders its way through the turbulence, lifts its head, demands consideration, exalts in a new, indefinite alteration on the surface of a memory's evolution.

At any given moment, the water reflects only what it wants to show. The seeker discovers a self in the self, and nothing more than water in the water.
