Steve was dressed in relatively casual attire on the warm sunny summer day in the Big Apple. Naturally, his choices still wreaked of the forties, with a tucked in shirt and a mostly beige palette, but in New York, he hardly stood out at all. The streets were always busier than he remembered and twice as noisy but there was still a distant familiarity that reminded him that it was still his home.
Getting used to it wasn't as hard as he thought it would be, even with the large florescent screens blaring advertisements and taxis honking left and right.
Today, he was going to check out a memorial sight, but a figure in the crowd caught his attention.
