He's pretty much holed up in the middle of nowhere when Castiel finds him, hiding from Bobby and Sam for a moment to get his own thoughts in gear. He's about to open his mouth to complain because seriously, two minutes, but whatever he wanted to say is immediately lost in the back of his throat.
He opens his mouth, sweeping his gaze over the angel. It's weird, to see him in anything but his usual attire, weirder still because of his get-up, but Dean's not sure he's really focusing on that, and more on the fact that his mouth has gone dry because this is too hot.
Noticing Dean's sudden silence, Cas casts a glance down at his attire once more before looking up at Dean. "I was-uh- looking for something else to perhaps wear should the occasion arise," He admitted, growing more unsure of the chosen attire, "Perhaps I am shopping in the wrong place."
His eyes dart to Dean's once more, locking there as he studies the gaze that's fixed on him. Maybe not his eyes exactly, but he's never taken Dean to be one short on words before. Admittedly, he's surprised Dean has said nothing yet. "What do you think?"
"Uh-," Dean's fairly certain he should be actually communicating with the angel, checking up on him, making sure everything's still okay with the pair of him, and that Cas is on the right side, but right now he's not sure he can.
"That kinda depends on what kinda occassion you were looking for."
"You seemed fond of this style of attire. Perhaps for your birthday. Or a themed party," He seemed to have thought hard about it, although even Castiel wasn't sure what made him decide to go shopping at such a place on a whim. Maybe because he thought it might bring a smile to Dean's face, maybe so it would be easier to apologize.
