[If you happen to know Susumu, then you would know he is a super-seekrit ninja who's good at sneaking around. If you don't know Susumu, then odds are you haven't seen him before, since he's good at not being seen.
But regardless, everyone gets to see him today. He was perched on the top of a building, watching the 'bustling' streets below as he tries to make mental note of his surroundings there, when suddenly his communicator shocks him for not posting enough.]
BZZZZZZT!
[And Susumu, not used to this, jumps forward in surprise, and he grabs his sword and turns as he steps, trying to stab at whatever he thought was behind him. But there was nobody there, as it was just his communicator. Also he was focused on what he thought was behind him, so for a split second he lost focus on what was in front of him, namely the edge of the roof. And that split second is enough for him to slip on the edge and fall off, dropping his communicator on the ledge as he falls. But at the last second he catches the edge of the roof with his hand, leaving him dangling on the edge.
After a few seconds he manages to pull himself up far enough to see over the edge of the ledge, and he sees the communicator. He is not amused.]
...very inconvenient.
