Items preparing to be shipped
So it turns out that I am a bitch without even trying. What is to me total coincidence is to those around me a calculated maneuver in the spirit of evil. Sorry.
One of the more frustrating periods of time is the one between making an online order and having it arrive. Yesterday at work I hit Amazon and bought a few incredibly awesome things. It cost enough that they offered to ship them to me free, but for an extra 5 bucks I could have them in half the time. 5 dollars well spent. I'm not the kind of person who makes an order and then forgets about it, only to be suprised and happy when it finally arrives. I made the order sometime around 11am. By 5pm I had checked my order status no less than 3 times. So far I have checked it twice today. To people like me the "Track Your Package" is one of the greatest technologies of modern times. My order is expected next friday, but I really hope it comes much sooner. It's kinda stupid, I could have just gone to a store and bought them myself, but this way there is the extra delay and anticipation... and to be fair, the anticipation is half the fun.
