disclaimer: I am in no way bragging about what happened last night, I am actually a little embarrassed that i let myself get THAT bad. I am just stating what happened.

Last night was the APO formal. Over all I had a good time, but there were a few things that bummed me out or made the evening sucky. FIrst of all i was almost an hour late because of me playing taxi. The food was there and gone in a flash; I have to agree with Melissa in saying that I felt rushed the entire night by the staff there. THe speeches while heartfelt and sweet were way too long.

The icing on the cake for the night was the announcement of brother of the year. Now, I had no problem losing. I did not need an award to justify all of the hard work I put into this organization since joining it back in september. It was all the people( who had good intentions in mind), that kept coming up to me and telling me that they had voted for me and that they thought I should have won.

Anyway, Afterwards we had a party at Amanda's. I was the designated driver at the formal so unlike most of the other people i was completely sober at this point. Something that i changed mighty quickly. In the span of two hours i consumed apporximately 14 shots of vodka (ten of which were in jello, two of which i did with a straw), The equivilent of two shots of everclear, and four smirnoff black cherry's. I dont know how i am alive.

I blacked out from about 4-5 am. During this time I have surmised from the bits and peices of what i can remember and from what Melissa told me that the following happened:
-I threw up alot
-I locked myself in a bathroom stall and refused to let people in to help me because apparently I felt i had too much dignity, despite the fact that i was standin in my own puke with my pants down around my ankles in a girls bathroom.
-I chipped my front tooth because i did multiple faceplants onto the toilet

The details of the clean up and the morning after are long and not that interesting, however, I would just like to thank Amy, Jon, and Melissa for taking care of me and making sure i survived, and for not takiong pictures.
