Life without a car, Day One
Mimi brought me in to work today, Brian's going to take me home. I am excited.
My options:
Carpool- Amanda said she'd be willing when we're coming in at the same time. Gas money -$2ish a day
Bike- 6.5 miles each way ... a leisurely hour ride? The entrance to the I-90 path is right near my house. Free
Bus- 1.5 hours of reading and relaxing. 1 or 2 transfers. $5/day or $90/month
Flexpass- ??? to nearest location. $???/month.
Hitchhiking- free, fun, unreliable
Walking- not really better than biking, but don't need to park the bike.
