Champagne cocktails
While reading tonight a recipe in OUT magazine for making champagne cocktails I remembered how Joseph (Smokey Joe) Motyka who lived at the Catholic Worker for many years, at Mott St., Chrystie St. and Spring St.,used, when in a certain mood, to accuse me and Dorothy (Day) of going to Greenwich Village on week-ends to drink champagne cocktails.
