Hey, guys. I'm (me being Bean) a moderator along with ibroketuesday (tuesday) and cookie_simone (cookie) and I just wanted to get the ball rolling with some my own personal canon! This all started with a meme that was floating around, and so I'm going to post about the characters that were requested. So, here we go!
Sylar
1. When asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, he'd either respond with "I'm never going to grow up!" or "I'm gonna be an actor!"
2. Sylar loves musicals. That's why he wanted to be an actor. His favorite musical is "South Pacific" and when his chorus teacher pointed out that he couldn't carry a tune, his world shattered.
3. Chandra used to talk about Mohinder all the time, which is why Sylar already liked Momo before he met him. If they had just met outright, Mohinder would probably already be dead. That's not to say that the road trip didn't have any affect on the relationship, but that it only strengthened what was already there.
4. Sylar secretly wishes he was Peter. He always tries to guess in advance what Peter will say, so that maybe a "Freaky Friday" switch will happen.
5. Sylar loved living in the Bronx. He'd walk around pretending he was Tony Danza or walk up to a tourist and put on his accent (he's great with any type of accent) to confuse them. He also was a frequent at a bakery down the street; he loved the smell of baking bread.
Peter
1. Nathan and Peter used to hate each other, but when Nathan found out about their father's suicide attempt, and had to hide it from Peter, he tried to make more of an effort to get along with him. College always helped, as well.
2. Peter hated high school. He never fit in with anyone, and because of it, his grades sucked. He felt as though if he could just get a definite group of friends that wouldn't abandon him, his grades would be able to improve.
3. Peter is obsessed with the Harry Potter books. If it hadn't been for Nathan's campaign, he would have gone to the original Barnes & Noble's for the all night celebration dressed up as Potter. In fact, Nathan still had to talk him down from it the night before.
4. Peter has always viewed himself as a "rebel" but with a heart of gold. He loves James Dean movies as well as Marlon Brando; he practically idolizes Claude. His proudest moment was when he stood up to Claude on the rooftop.
5. When asked if he's gay, Peter just laughs. He thinks it's funny when people assume him and his brother are lovers.
West
1) West was never called to come over when playing "Red Rover".
2) West doesn't realize how much of a creep he is. He kind of does things impulsively, and doesn't consider the consequences of what he comes off as. He liked Claire, so he followed her home to find out more about her.
3) He picked up the "alien vs. robots" thing from a video game he's played since he was ten.
4) West has secretly been coming up with superhero names for himself and has already sewn a cape.
5) His parents live in Nevada. He flew away and currently lives in a hotel. He sometimes thinks of himself as Eloise.
6) He has a little sister, which explains the Eloise. Claire sometimes reminds him of her, but not too much, because that would actually be creepy. Plus, when West left, Eliza wasn't that old.
7) West hates his name, but loves the irony that he flew west to get away from home.
Adam
1. Adam has never been in a plane, although he's met the Wright Brothers. He's traveled by boat to every country.
2. Adam lives in America. Not only because he loves it, but because all the other countries eventually kicked him out.
3. Adam has graduated from Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Duke. He's never shown up for group photos and made sure to always be a rank below valedictorian, mostly because he didn't want to write and deliver that stupid speech.
4. Adam was fifteen minutes late to board the Titanic. He's always regretted it.
5. Despite having participated in some of the most important moments of history, he usually lives a day-to-day life. He wakes up, has coffee, walks to whatever job he has that decade and fucks more women than you can imagine.
These are starting to sound like Chuck Norris jokes XD
6. Adam has written most of the major novels of the 18th, 19th and 20th century. He only allows other people to put their names on the cover so it's not suspicious.
7. Adam enjoys watching "Doctor Who" and pointing out all of the mistakes.
8. Adam attended Woodstock and it was the best weekend of his life, apart from the time he spent at Bob Dylan's house.
9. Adam introduced Angela and Kaito. He then left them alone in an empty patient holding cell.
10. Adam will kill anyone who makes the "Gouda cheese" joke, as he has heard it 2 million times in at least twenty languages.
Simone and Monty
1. Monty and Simon have fights over whose cooler: Uncle Peter or Daddy. Daddy usually wins, but Simon still maintains that Peter is nicer.
2. Simon hated his name, because he didn't want to be the dorky chipmunk. He'd rather have been Theodore. Monty claims that his name is short for Alvin.
3. Ten years from now, Monty and Simon won't even remember that their mother had ever been in a wheelchair. Or if they do, they'd think that it had only been a temporary sickness.
4. Monty has a secret that he hasn't told Simon. Sometimes, at night, he can make the door open and close without touching it.
HRG
1) HRG has traveled and killed in every country of the world except for Mozambique (is Mozambique a country? Whatever, it stays.)
2) HRG feels a bit lost between the old generation of Heroes and the new one. The only person he can remember being from his actual era was Claude, and you saw what happened there.
3) HRG feels horrible that he adopted Claire, which in turn led to the adoption of Lyle. Lyle doesn't deserve this, but at least he doesn't really know what's going on.
4) Bennet's last name used to be Benzowski.
5) The day HRG married Sandra was the best day of his life, but he's starting to regret it for safety reasons.
