-He may find his "mother" right as he leaves his house practicing her aim in the front yard by shooting cans placed in rather inconspicuous places throughout. She's drawing some stares from passing drones...-

[he does see her, in fact, and stops to watch her shoot one of the cans. honestly, he feels a bit bad, not having gotten to know his "parents" in this place, but... it's a little weird for him.]
