You wrote Matt find old photos and jumps John fic. YOU WROTE MATT FINDS OLD PHOTOS AND JUMPS JOHN FIC!!!!! And and and not only that, you like... it's like this is a tailor-made for Sev deluxe fic. You gave me big ol' possessive take-charge John and LICKING and joy over that glorious bald head and SEX AGAINST A WALL and um, this:

which might have made me squirm and make flappy hands and then go re-read that whole section again.

So basically, I love it all. I love that Matt is so definitely Matt and I love that I can HEAR John, especially in that "Hi Honey, how was your day?" and "you say that every year" -- and really, wheeee, that whole resolution (heh) of Matt's griping is perfection.

(And Matt's whole section in the attic is awesome. I keep wanting to say "esp the stuff with..." but it would be EVERYTHING. Fucking with Lucy, heh. Holly, heh. The photos, wheee. So yeah. Just. You rule.)

Lets see if I got this right - you get all the little details for the build up (solder though a fogerty cd, warlock, dusty attic, drippy nose, boxes of unknown,and then finely hitting treasure - photos of a young a John.
Then you get to the real good stuff- John as a REAL MATURE man who pushes all of Matt's buttons and (knows it). Then licks and touches, the details on how cold hands can still set off nerve endings. And then for the final zinging description -

And yes, I think you about summed it up. Thank you so much, I'm so tickled to hear what you liked best (especially that the licking and cold hands weren't just weird lol).

And lol that line from Matt gave me such a pain. Autocorrect kept INSISTING that it should be 'squeezing' fangirl, instead of squeeing. Honestly, whoever designed a dictionary that recognizes the word 'fangirl' but not 'squee', has *never* met one.

I like the plot that Matt finds the old photos of McClanes and their family history, but never thought the new year's resolution would develop to it and end up with such a sexy scene like that. Thanks for sharing!

I guess my favorite thing (once I got past the whole hot, hot, HOT!!) is that Matt sees young!John and likes, but he totally prefers John now...His!John. I love that. Because, what's not to love? Am I right? LOL

Wow thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed this (and got more out of it than 'hot'...although there's nothin' wrong with hot, thank you). I think that was kinda important to me. That Matt likes (read: is seriously attracted to) John the way he met him, because I think this couple wouldn't work any other way. (In my head Matt is largely ruled by his hormones...poor guy lol)
