After trying unsuccessfully for the last 1.5 hours to nap -- again -- I finally said fuck it, I'll just be exhausted at work tonight and decided to come back online. And the first thing I see is THIS. Kismet, I tell ya.

You KNOW how I feel about John and Matt gettin' it on during the movie, but I gotta say: if it was going to happen, THIS is how it would be. John's just being practical. Uh huh.

I love love love the Matt POV and the little details like dirt and concussion-fevers and Matt realizing that John is left-handed, and this: And ‘half hard’ is quickly becoming ‘all-the-way, full-on, alone-in-the-house-with-unlimited-free-porn’ hard, which made me do a laugh-snort. Heh.

Gotta say I love this new Valentines Day tradition! Hope you're having a great one. :)

You know, I have a hard time myself imagining anything happening during, but this way did seem *possible* …if not probable heh. And the muse just kept insisting that it needed to be written. Probably just because it would be pretty fun. I did wrestle with my head-canon a bit with this one, so I’m so glad to hear it worked for you, thanks for the great comment!

Hee, well I hope you enjoy your re-watching!
You know, I have trouble imagining something like this going down myself, but the thing about the Tunnel Scene to me, is we start to see a little bit of a relationship change between John and Matt. For me, John’s reaction when he sees Matt get out of the car is pure panic - different from the protection he laid down in the apartment scene - I think he’s starting to get a little attached! And John killing the helicopter with the car…well Matt was definitely impressed. :) And maybe a little concerned and overwhelmed and in awe, and lots of other delicious schmoopy slashtastic nonsense like that. So I guess this is where that grew out of, I dunno. Or maybe it was just fun!
