11 - Genre - do you prefer certain genres of fic when you're writing? What kind do you tend to write most?
Hmm. That’s an interesting question. I’m not sure what constitutes a genre in fanfiction. My canon genre tends to be Action, and as recently noted by megyal, seems to generally include cars and shooting. But my fic? I guess I write ‘Fluff’? I’m not sure I understand the question…
I’ve seen people label my fic as humour (even ‘crack’), drama, and even sometimes angst but I don’t think I’m too terribly angsty. I guess ‘Drama’ comes the closest. And ‘Fluff’. Probably ‘Romance’. Usually ‘Slash’ now. :) Oh, I write a lot of ‘Domestic’. Is that a genre? I’m pretty mainstreamy, I don’t seem to do much of the niche kind of stuff like Steampunk or Vampires. I’m going to give up on not-answering this now.
