I know some stuff about Cassie. But it doesn't seem like she has her own series (which I find unfair) and I don't really know what series other than Titans and YJ to look for for info on her. Some recs (like issues) would be nice
( Read more... )
1. Where is Cassie from? Where does she currently live? Ya got me. Lately, though, she's been crashing at Supergirl's place.
2. Cassie's mother's an archaeologist, right? Does she still go on digs? Or does she do mainly museum work/teach? I think it's a mix, but mostly museum work.
3. Does she have any other family besides her mother? (I mean biologically, like aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.) There are many websites to help you with your Greek mythology...
4. How did she end up friends with Kara? They first met in Supergirl #3 and have hooked up more since OYL.
5. What's her relationship with Donna and Diana? Diana's sidekick technically, but I think she confides a little more in Donna.
6. Anyone know her birthday or at least an approximate date? No idea.
7. Can someone tell me the issue where she got her powers? Or is that even in an issue? In Young Justice: A World Without Grown-Ups, she has powers, I remember. So it has to be before that, right? I know it was in Wonderwoman before YJ was launched, but I don't know the issue.
8. Cissie and Greta appear in the first issue (I think) of Titans v.3. They seem friendly with her- do we know if they still are friends now? We're supposed to find out in the upcoming Wondergirl miniseries
9. Does Cassie still go to that boarding school? Or what? No, she got kicked out.
10. Is Cassie's identity largely known or not? It can't be a secret, because in Titans, there's an issue where kids make fun of her and she flies off out of the classroom. But would people recognize her walking down the street in civvies? If her name was announced in a room, would people automatically think "Wonder Girl", even if the event had nothing to do with superheroes? It's technically public, but I don't think she's too reconizable. But some people are obsessive about superheroes like celebrities and one of those people could easily go "Look! It's Cassie Sandsmark--Wondergirl!" and draw a crowd, so it's kind of a matter of taking your chances.

*laughs* Well, there is that. But I meant more on her mother's side- aka her human side.

And if she doesn't canonically have family/not have family (like Tim), then it means I can do what I want...which is always a good thing.
