(Interestingly, in the Confidential, Freema noted that when she read the script, she thought that Martha should have realised something was up - and she put it down to Martha not being so cynical that she doesn't distrust everyone - but I think I prefer my explanation...)

I'm glad Freema pointed that out and gave a good reason as to why Martha would just follow a couple of army guys around... Although, if I were in her place I would definitely follow them UNIT boys anywhere :p

I must admit, I thought Private Gray was rather nice (although I like Ross better !) - and I would have followed them fairly cheerfully too !

I just thought that between setting up the medical post, talking to Donna and starting to check the workers, she probably hadn't really had time to process the conversation with the Doctor until she went off with the two Privates... And I could just see her being so annoyed by it that she allowed it to distract her enough for her to not realise until it was too late...

I am in total agreement with just about everything the prev. posters have said - literally - so I won't repeat it but:
