The BBC have finally revealed TV's worst-kept secret and confirmed that there will be a second season of The Sarah Jane Adventures - awesomesauce !
And the marvellous londonbeauty001 has posted scans of the interview with Freema from the new issue of DWM (I'm sulking because my subscriber copy still hasn't turned up - honestly the postal service around here sucks like an industrial hoover!)
Freema confirms that Martha has a boyfriend "a little bit more than a boyfriend" (fiance? If it's Tom Milligan, I'll scream!)
She also says that there's no actual confirmation of how long it is since Martha left the TARDIS, but in her head it's about a year.
She and Jack WILL have a discussion about what's happened to her in "Reset" (and for those of you with BBC3 in the UK, don't forget that's airing on Feb 13 at 9.50 pm !)
And Freema's not averse to donning the red leather jacket for "The Adventures of Martha Jones" in 2040 (this is in reference to Sarah Jane having her own series so long after her first episode and in reference to Peter Davison donning the cricket whites to play Five again in "Time Crash"). Freema says "I'm definitely not tired of her [Martha] yet. I don't feel like I'm bored of her, or I've done everything I can with her! So yes, I'm quite happy to carry on exploring and developing her."
PLEASE Rusty, let this be a hint of a Martha Jones/UNIT spin-off... *begs on bended knees*
