The 100 Things Challenge - Person 03

May 01, 2012 20:47

I hadn't intended to leave it so long to post about person 3, but I was too knackered at the weekend to think let alone write coherently.

Aw, it sounds a good film - and you certainly make him sound a v sweet character, too. (Can't imagine what you were doing watching a film with Michael Kitchen in!! ;-p)

I'm sorry you were so tired - hope you're a bit less so now? I thought you'd been a little quiet over the weekend. *hugs*

It's a lovely movie - highly recommend it. Lacking in violence or despair - and having lots of sunshine plus lovely ensemble cast. And yeah, Michael Kitchen - who'd have thunk?!

Well Sunday I lost sleep to the freaking thunderstorm rampaging above my head. But I slept better last night - if I hadn't just come from 4.5 hours of work, I'd consider myself not too tired.

(BTW You appear to have missed post 2 in this series - at least insofar as you didn't comment on it last week!)

I really need some more MK iconses! Why isn't anyone making them?!

:-)

Aw. Hope the week improves!!

Yes, sorry. I kept getting overtired last week and while I tried to catch up with most things, I'm sure I missed a few here and there. It was Sam, though, wasn't it? And I already know enough to know I like the sound of her, but, sadly, I still haven't actually met her yet. :-/ I shall be awaiting the next one, standing to attention!!! ;-p

Because they are all making David Collings iconses? (No, wait. They aren't. Hmm. Don't what the excuse is, then... ;-D)

BTW, has Fall of Eagles not turned up yet? That's a little worrying, but hopefully just the post being random, as it sometimes is... (Thank goodness I ripped David Collings before I posted it!!)

Well my boss decided to torture me yesterday - made me use the Rug Doctor carpet cleaning machine for an hour. Beastly thing weighs about 4 times as much as a heavy hoover and is horribly hard to manoeuvre - my knee is still throbbing today, so I'm hoping the week will improve - but not exactly holding my breath on that score!

Yes it was Sam - who is perfectly lovely!

Nope, they're not making DC iconses AFAIK!

No it hasn't - sorry, I meant to drop you a line yesterday to say "Still no sign..." I am very annoyed!

Aw. *hugs*

Oh, dear. I hope I didn't do something silly with it. (I don't think so, but I'm not always terribly reliable as yet. I have odd dyslexic-like moments.) Anyway, tell me if/when it does! :-/

Well, I got a card from the post office this morning telling me something couldn't be delivered because it was short on the postage - might that be your DVDs?

Oh, I'm sorry! It must be. I put the same stamp on as usual, but I used a small padded envelope instead this time - I thought it wouldn't make any difference. I'll have to keep to the non-padded ones in future.

Ah! Also the postage has just gone up this week.

(I did wonder why they were demanding £1.58 of me!)

... And, um, remember where I said my brain is still unreliable? Well, it actually isn't Royal Mail's fault, or eanything to do with the envelope, or the rise in postage this week. It might however have something to do with the tiny little detail where I didn't actually put the stamp on the envelope.

(My last large stamp is still in my purse, as I discovered yesterday evening.) I'm sorry. *head!desk* I'm sending the postage, and will try to make sure I put a stamp and address and everything on that...

Oh! Well yes, failing to put any kind of postage on the envelope will definitely cause Royal Mail to get huffy...
