It was just lovely.

When he went looking for an old control room I was sure they'd rebuild on of the original control rooms. Tom Baker's control room maybe. I would have probably squeeeeed enough to miss the Eurovision.

Yeah. Wasn't the episode supposed to feature the return of a classic character? Did I miss something.

Oh I really thought they were gonna find all the good Gallifreyan timelords in this pocket universe. Too bad they didn't. But that would have been too much I guess.

That was a good show.

I guess the Doctor answered if the timelord's ever switch genders on regenerating. Unless he was joking again like with Clyde on SJA.

I think the rumour was it'd feature the return of an old character in a new way - well, if that's not the TARDIS, what is?

I thought the Time Lords were coming back too! I confess to getting very bouncy at that point!

I suspect he might well have been joking but who knows?

Yeah you must be right about the TARDIS. I thought Neil himself said that the episode featured the return of a classic character in a new body. Which I thought ruled out a character that even seen in the title credits of the new series. And Moffat tweeted that people are gonna say "OMG I can't believe you brought that character back

I don't remember the specific rumour - since I've been trying to avoid spoilers...

I confess I squeed when Idris revealed she saw the Doctor's future - made my fanon in my recent Eight-regenerates-into-Nine story into actual canon. HA! :D

The asteroid also made me think of the Axis.
