Law & Order: UK 4.04 - Duty of Care - Reaction Post and Picspam

Mar 29, 2011 10:19

This episode was written by Debbie O'Malley, and has a very nice plot twist...

- Chamberlain Road Tottenham, Monday 7 March

- So, another fire story, like S1's 'Paradise'...

- Hmm, was the arson attack aimed at the shop of the flat above?

- Home of Eleanor Green Willesden, Tuesday 8 March

- Poor Megan - sounds like she had a tough time with her son.

- Ronnie: And he's got a stupid beard!
Natalie: That's enough for me.
LOL

- Speedy News Chamberlain Road, Tuesday 8 March

- Ronnie doesn't look hugely convinced by Sanjit's protestations of innocence.

- MIU Central HQ, Tuesday 8 March

- Those kids think they're so hard, but they're not really.

- Ronnie: Well, it wouldn't be the first young tearaway I've had to sort out, would it eh Matty?
LOL

- Home of Craig Parnell Dalston, Wednesday 9 March
I don't think the dad did it.

- Chamberlain House, Wednesday 9 March

- Laburnham Hill Special School Wood Green, Wednesday 9 March
Blimey, if Ian was in that bad a state, it's probably a mercy that he's dead.

- Are we thinking mum might have set the fire?

- Well, it looks like Matt and Ronnie are thinking it.

- MIU HQ
Forensics have found paint thinner on Megan's sweatshirt. Not good.

- You can see Matt's hating this *so* much.

- Central Criminal Courts Plea & Case Management Hearing, Monday 21 March
Oooh, no James.

- Judge Hall: This is why we have trials Mr Peck
*snorts*

- Peck: Your average female barrister looks like a pig in a wig.
Smack him one, Alesha! (She really looks like she wants to, actually!)

- You can tell Peck doesn't know Alesha, or he'd know that her tone of voice, when she says 'Excuse me?' means she's at DEFCON 3 at least!

- Peck: As far as I can remember, being fat and stupid isn't a crime.
What? If anyone's a pig in a wig - it's him!

This is Alesha's pissed off face - you don't wanna make her wear it!

- Hmm, James is also in his court clothes, presumably he was dealing with another case while Alesha was at the Hearing.

- I love the fact that James makes himself comfy as he sits on Alesha's desk!

- George: Go forth and prosecute.
No, George, you got that wrong, it's "Go forth and reproduce"!!

- Royal Hampton Hospital, Wednesday 23 March
Alesha's doing her terrier act...

- Crown vs Parnell Plea and Case Management Hearing, Monday 28 March

- Peck: Under Section 78 of Pace
James to Alesha: Eleven (they both grin).

- James and Alesha appear to think Peck's on a hiding to nothing and failing badly.

- Peck: Under Section 78 of Pace
James: Twelve
I fell about laughing as I realised James was counting all the instances of Peck mentioning Section 78 of Pace. He clearly has no respect for Peck - which I think's a bad sign.

- Judge Hall: I suggest you quit while you're [lengthy pause] Well, I suggest you quit anyway.
*cackles* Even the Judge can't take him seriously!

- Poor Megan. It's pretty obvious she's not very well educated, and that she hasn't been properly prepared by her brief. You can see he doesn't give a damn about her, and that Alesha very much does despite the fact that she's a Prosecutor and Megan's the defendant.

- Alesha, folding her arms for great Justice. :D

- Peck: In warm weather, I'm sure most of us tend to sleep on top of the covers. [In March?!]
Chief Firefighter: The night of the fire it was below freezing.
Ha! He's just made Peck look like the arse he is! How on earth did Peck pass his exams for the Bar? He's an idiot!

- James: And I hope he's got sense enough to agree.
Alas, James, he doesn't have even that much sense!

- The White Horse

- Peck: All Megan wants to do is stay with little Kaylee.
Alesha: It's Katie.
Trust Alesha to know the name of Megan's daughter - and trust Peck not to!

- Peck: Hey, it's always good to give the ladies hope.
Go on, Alesha, throw his drink in his face, it's no more than he deserves!

- CPS, Friday 8 April.

- It's clear Peck hasn't explained everything to Megan.

- I love the way the camera shows us Alesha and Megan making eye contact. I think you can almost feel Alesha willing Megan to say something so that Alesha can give Megan more information.

- Strand, Monday 11 April
Alesha catches up with James and George to tell them that Peck's entered a new plea - that Megan was insane. And they're clearly all wondering if HE is quite sane!

- Consulting Rooms of Dr Roddy Armitage, Denmark Hill, Tuesday 12 April
Oooh! Roddy's grown a beard since we saw him last. (Wonders what the actor's been doing in the meantime...)

- Megan initially sounds like she's been coached in what to say.

- Eee! James and Alesha are having a pub lunch with Roddy.

- Crown vs Parnell Trial Day 8, Wednesday 13 April

- Who's this American 'doctor' Peck's dragged in?

- OMG! James is seriously taking the piss out of this radio 'psychologist'. *cackles*

- CPS Thursday 14 April
Blimey, Megan's story has changed more often than I can count!

- James is pissed off with Peck's stupid behaviour. Something's gonna give!

- *Wonders if Freema knows that Alesha's flashing her bra at this point... *coughs*

- St Colman's Mortuary, Thursday 14 April
Oooh, look, it's Heather, the pathologist who shaves her neck! (See 'Hounded')

- Crown vs Parnell Trial Day 10, Friday 15 April

- CPS, Friday 15 April
Alesha says something that gives James an idea - he's gonna pwn the defence!

- Chambers of Judge Mary Hall, Monday 18 April
Huh, it's quite clear that James and the Judge are talking about something that Peck isn't picking up on - you can see it in their faces: the Judge has twigged that James is taking the defence out of Peck's hands, and he doesn't have a clue.

- Ooh! On screen caption at the end to say that Dominic Peck's no longer practising Criminal Law (should've been locked up himself, if you ask me!) and Megan Parnell was released at five months following psych evaluations.

Eep! Only two more episodes left this season - twice more to see James and Alesha looking smexy and hawt as they pwn.
