Actually missed the revelation as regards 'Lucianus' upon my first listening of 'The Book of Kells'; switched off the old MP3 as the end of story music began. Certainly quite a surprise when one discovered that scene upon one's second listening back at home later ( ... )

A pre-Blood of the Daleks Lucie could be interesting, though I'm guessing she's post-Death (and I'm wondering if she's out for revenge)...

I confess to being desperately disappointed by Tamsin - she was the least interesting character in Situation Vacant, and Fenella Woolger's character was way more interesting in Nevermore. If it wasn't for the return of Lucie, I wouldn't even have bothered buying the latest two EDNAs. I don't even get the impression that Eight likes Tamsin that much (I certainly don't feel he likes her as much as either Charley or Lucie, or even C'rizz!)

Oh, I don't know Tamsin has had some quite good lines and I have to say as a thirtysomething that has probably hasn't succeeded in everything one has set out to do that there is something I can relate to in the character.

Perhaps to be slightly more positive about recent Eight releases than I have; I could say its always nice to hear David Warner and Graeme Garden seems well cast as the Monk. Though it will be interesting to see whether a more sinister side to the character is developed, something that might already have been suggested with the mention of the 'strange, little man' in 'Nevermore'.

Oh, and the 'Tracey Ann Obermann fangirls David Warner' ancedote on the Extras was amusing. Not quite sure if that trumps the 'Tracey asked me to ask Nick whether I could be in the Tomorrow People?' ancedote that was in a Big Finish Podcast awhile back though.

I'm a 40 something who's not succeeded as much as I'd hoped twenty or even ten years ago. However, that's not really enough. I feel that I know hardly any more about Tamsin now than I did four releases ago - except that she hates improv, and apparently wears glasses.

David Warner was fab - but that goes without saying. I fangirl him as much as TAO - though I don't get to do it up close and personal as she does!

...and perhaps being too fond of moccochinos.

Not entirely sure what Lucie's plan is if she is out for revenge, other than revenge obvisouly, the situation on Mars didn't seem to scream 'TRAP!'

Yes.

Well I guess that depends on how the situation unfolds, doesn't it?

Indeed, I guess I could somewhat on the rash in dismissing the possibilty of the 'Lure the Doctor to Mars; show his new travelling companion that he can be a bit of a cold bastard when it comes to people (Grenville) getting caught up in his adventures and then do something dastardly to hammer home the whole 'Mwah, Mwah Doctor! I have my revenge!'

Or maybe Karen knew where the Headhunter left some bodyswap tech lying about on Earth.
