That's the second case of ephebophilia in SJA that I've noticed - the first being when Mrs. Wormwood returns, and comments on how handsome Luke has grown up to be, while stroking his cheek suggestively. Of course, with Mrs. Wormwood, I gave that a pass because she's supposed to be sick and twisted.

I would've minded less had they not gone on to portray Miss Trupp as so desperate for a man (although, Phil Ford redeemed himself somewhat by having her reject Harding).

Nice touch of realism from the show, since art is often considered an "unmanly" pursuit among teenage boys, and Clyde, as the son of an absentee dad, is often motivated by more than a touch of trying to "be a man."

That's true... I guess I just don't get the whole peer pressure thing because I've never taken the blindest bit of notice of my peers!

Agreed, even though that would have amped Clyde's embarrassment up to 11, since it was such a lovingly rendered drawing that all of the kids would know that Clyde has the hots for his best friend's mom. :)

Hee, that's true!!

Clyde is REALLY coming into his own as a character. If they don't keep him around in the Whoniverse and continue to develop him, as they did with Sarah Jane herself, it'll be a sadly missed opportunity.

Agreed! I really would like to see him as a companion in another couple of years or so...

I like that Luke is becoming an actual kid. He's really Adric done right.

Yes!

She's had a much shorter span of time to actually mother him than most moms do.

It's a shame. She's getting better at the mothering thing!
