David Tennant in "Learners"
The Jessica Hynes-penned BBC comedy drama "Learners" will air on November 11 on BBC 1 at 21:00. It stars David Tennant as Chris, a geeky driving instructor and Jessica Hynes as Bev an older learner who develops a crush on Chris (damn, that woman'll be snogging him again ! SO NOT FAIR !)
The comedy drama follows the trials and tribulations of a group of learner drivers. Bev (Hynes)is a downtrodden wife who's failed her driving test eight times. She's desperate to pass, yet frustrated at husband Ian's (Shaun Dingwell) impatient approach to teaching her to drive. Bev is inspired by glamorous driving school owner Fiona (Sarah Hadland) and becomes determined to succeed along with a group of other learner drivers. Chris, who has the patience of a saint, is assigned as her instructor, and it's not long before she develops a crush on him, despite his geeky appearance.
