Oh, this is glorious! The mention of Scotland, from one of the great Martha/10 books, her natural brilliance in inventing her own sonic-screwdriver.. *ftw!*.. and Col.Mace appreciating and respecting her credentials. is made of win. :)

Love the way Luther truly sees Martha Jones, Poet, Warrior etc and can speak openly, justly awed by her, is better than she got from the Doctor at most times.

Adored.

I'm off to read part two asap but wanted to pick out two utter gem bits of your writing:

"You've got a Healer's heart, but you've also got a Warrior's spirit, a Lover's passion and a Poet's soul in you." His expression was thoughtful as he spoke. "During the year that you walked the Earth all four of those elements of your nature were in perfect harmony, which allowed you to succeed in your mission to tell the story of the Doctor, and heal your world of the hurt caused by his enemy the Master. But the Lover and the Poet have become lesser to the Healer and the Warrior since that year was rewound."

"Your feelings are understandable, and the fact that you still feel that way shows that the Doctor still hasn't properly addressed the matter with you, which is his error, not yours"

Dear lordy, you can nail so much so well - managing to capture Luther's phrasing with such awareness of Martha's story... bravo!
