I so want to see Ten interacting with the old UNIT crew, Jo and Liz especially.

Yes, it would be interesting to see him meet more of his former companions.

Liz was basically the Martha Jones of her day - even Three, as chauvinistic as he was, treated her as a peer rather than as an assistant, but she ultimately left because she felt unappreciated and wanted a life of her own (sound familiar?). Jo was actually the Rose Tyler of her day, except that, sadly enough, she stands out as a much more positive role model than Rose in retrospect. Yes, she clearly loves Three, but in the end, she finds herself a guy of her own, and, as with Liz, moves on with her life, by her own choice.

I'd heard that, especially about Liz...

It'd be especially interesting for companions like Liz and Jo to meet up with Ten, since he's so outwardly the opposite of Three, who was dashing and dignified and deeply paternalistic.

Yes, they're not exactly words that spring to mind to describe Ten!

Then again, I still want Sarah Jane to meet up with Liz and Jo on SJA, to have a UNIT MILF version of Charlie's Angels. ;)

*rolls eyes* Trust you!

Ten would seem very much like a hyper little kid compared to Three.

Ans Liz and Jo on SJA would be great! They'd both tease Sarah Jane about Maria being her biggest fan, whil Liz and Luke bonded over test tubes, and Clyde tried to hit on Jo (you KNOW he would). Of course, there would be an initial misunderstanding when Jo met Alan:

"Oh, I heard Sarah Jane had a son, but I thought she said he was younger! You must be Luke!"

"Actually, I'm Alan, her ... next-door neighbor."

And then, Jo would blush and apologize, but also pick up on Alan's attraction to Sarah Jane, and tease her about it when she found out that Sarah Jane WASN'T sleeping with Alan.

Mmmaybe.

"Mr. Langer! Not that I don't appreciate your compliments, but you're just a boy, and I'm old enough to be your grandmother!"

"Aw, age ain't nothin' but a number, baby."

"Child welfare services might disagree with that. And you don't want to use Jack Harkness' pickup lines."

"But ... he said I'd score mad amounts of older trim with that line!"

Clyde is clearly Jack Jr.

Well I just watched "Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane?" again yesterday and there was definitely a Jack-esque vibe to alt!Clyde (when Sarah Jane's gone)

In his phone conversation with Maria, it was clear that Clyde was juggling a few girlfriends, yes. :)

If Luke hooks up with Jenny, then Clyde needs to hook up with Ace (as a teen). They would totally try to one-up and challenge each other all the time, but then have intense make-out sessions after.

Yes! It was his "I can fit you in next Thursday" that made me giggle most!

You've thought about this WAY too much! :D
