I thought I'd do a combined reaction post for parts 2 to 4 of the first Gallifrey series.

I needed to listen to the Gallifrey series several times before I wasn't confused (some parts still confuse me now, but I understand most of it). Series 2 is brilliant. So much better than series 1. My favourite story is Spirit (followed closely by Lies).

Oh thank goodness it's not just me who found it confusing. I did wonder if I was just being dense/slow, especially listening to them after a long, tiring day at work...

I've ordered the second series so I'm glad to know it's better than the first... *bounces*

The Gallifrey series were the first audios I listened to, so it took a while to get used to that (I was used to the audiobooks). I knew that Romana was President and Leela was on Gallifrey, but that was about it. I had no idea what the significance of Sissy Pollard was! I was very confused, but still loved it.

The second series is my favourite.

Oh blimey! That most certainly would have added to the confusion, I'm sure!

*pokes Big Finish* Hurry up and deliver already!

It certainly did! Its nice now to listen to them and understand all the references! (After finishing Gallifery, I listened to Neverland and Zagreus. How I got through those I'll never know. I was utterly bamboolzed!)

It will be worth the wait.

I've not listened to Neverland or Zagreus yet, but I do know their plots (have looked them up on the Who Reference Guide)... They're waiting in the long queue of "BF Audios to listen to soon" - but I'm on a serious Romana-kick at the moment working my way through the audios and her TV episodes, so those two Eighth Doctor stories will have to wait a little while longer.

That was the reason why I listened to those two audios, because of Romana. I then went and listened to The Apocalypse Element. I did it all in a very strange order!

Hmm, yes just a little strange. I listened to The Apocalypse Element a while ago (though I need to re-listen because it's so darned loud I struggled with hearing a lot of dialogue), then I jumped from Six&Evelyn to Romana&Leela, I'll jump back to Eight&Charley eventually...
