Season 4 Finale Speculation
I've been thinking about the fact that a lot of fans are expecting the return of Gallifrey and the Time Lords, and the fact that RTD has said that he's gathering particular things from each season of New Who for the finale... Well we know, after last weel, that Bad Wolf is relevant from Season 1.
And I figured out a way for the Time Lords to come back without using fob watches: a void ship. A Time Lord prison ship, like the "Genesis Ark" that we saw in Army of Ghosts/Doomsday, in which the Daleks have trapped whichever Time Lords they could round up and consigned it to the void - but with the breakdown of the walls between the universes (as evidence by Rose's appearance in our universe in "Turn Left", the void ship is freed and lo! the Time Lords return (or some of them at least)...
I don't think it's any dafter than anything RTD could come up with. And it's certainly less daft that Floaty!Tinkerbell!Jesus!Ten!!
