The story sounds very good. Then again, the Daleks always were a trip. I need to find out more about the Sixth Doctor.

Well I strongly recommend the Sixth Doctor BF audios, especially those with Evelyn. He's now teamed up with Charley Fisher (who was initially Eight's audio companion - I've no idea how they've worked this as I've yet to listen to them, but I shall get to them eventually) - and she's another audio companion of whom I'm rather fond !

Charley Pollard, silly, played by India Fisher :) I'm glad to hear you enjoyed "Jubilee"--not that I had any doubts, but confirmation is always good. Also glad I remembered the film trailer in the right audio. :) Rob Shearman definitely needs to have another go at DW. I keep wondering why he's only had the one episode so far, especially since "Dalek" was so good. Moffat, Gatiss, and Cornell have been back, so...where's Shearman?

Bah humbug ! I was in a rush as I was about to go and grab some food...

Of course I meant Charley Pollard...

*grumps at stupidity*

The film trailer was very funny, but the other two trailers were on the freakish side !

Absent - which is pretty much criminal, I'd say !

Oddly, I don't recall the other two trailers so much. Of course, I did a lot of non-Eight BF listening last spring post-surgery, when I had to sit in a hot bath for 15 minutes against my will. BF is the only thing that got me through it with any remaining sanity, so it's possible only the really funny things registered!

Perhaps we should start an online "Bring back Shearman" campaign to get the Moff's attention... ;)

Could be !!

Heh, yeah ! Although the former OG Forum's probably the place to do that - does the Moff hang out there? (I'm not a member...)

The Moff has very definitely been spotted on TFFKAOG (The Forum Formerly Known as OG) before, but after the news of his ascension, there was much speculation there about his future on the board. I think he might be prohibited from frequenting the place anymore per legal restrictions, or some such.

And you're wise to avoid. I mostly look to see if anyone's selling something I'd like to buy, and otherwise only go there if morbid curiosity is doing its dirty work on me...

Well I guess that makes sense... Perhaps we should start an online petition to him then?

Ah - I got to eBay for DW stuff I want to buy - not that I buy much...

Via BigFinishLove

One possible reason for not remembering the trailers other than the movie one that preceeded Part One is that they were not included on the actual cd release, though they were made widely available on a issue of the Big Finish Magazine CD.

An online petition might not be a bad idea.

I like going to OG to buy things because a lot of people will try to sell them on OG before going through eBay. You can negotiate shipping, etc, and you can also ask about something you might be looking for. I don't buy a whole lot there anymore, but I have got some steals--like my copies of Vampire Science and the Eight Doctors, both of which I got for almost nothing compared to what I'd have paid for them on eBay.

There's a site, isn't there, where you can set them up? I seem to recall seeing it mentioned here and there...

You could start by just *asking* him whether he intends to bring Rob back on board. Or indeed, asking robshearman if he even *wants* to come back on board... =:o}
