I feel ridiculously nerdy. Upon my shelf I now have:
i. Stargate: The Movie
ii. Stargate: SG-1 (Complete Series)
iii. Stargate: The Ark of Truth
iv. Stargate: Atlantis (Complete Series)
v. Stargate: Continuum
vi. Star Trek: The Original Series (Complete)
vii. Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979)
viii. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
ix. Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
x. Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
xi. Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
xii. Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
xiii. Star Trek: Generations
xiv. Star Trek: First Contact
xv. Star Trek: Insurrection
xvi. Star Trek: Nemesis
xvii. Buck Rogers in the 25 Century (Complete Series)
I still need to make sure that eventually I get Stargate: Universe, the new Stargate movie they're making as well as Stargate: Infinity (because who doesn't like the idea of a Stargate cartoon, seriously?) But as it is right now, I think we plan to look into getting Star Trek: The Next Generation soon. And then maybe Farscape.
So apart from being an epic SciFi nerd, apparently, work has been okay. There was this one lady that called in this evening freaking out because her dog ate her Lovastatin. While she was freaking out in my ear, I was trying to work out how the hell the dog opened the childproof caps, since in her profile it states that's what she gets, but I digress. And normally, I'd say because they can bite it off but this dog was a tiny little mixed dog that I'd say was like... A Wiener dog mixed with something tiny as hell. I DON'T KNOW.
But anyway, we told her to call her vet and she apparently called poison control, who then told her to talk animal poison control, who then told her they needed a $30 fee because they aren't a funded program so then she called her vet and apparently they told her the dog would be fine. I know this, because she called us back to tell us. And then after the second call she came in via the drive-thru with her dog and proceeded to cry at the pharmacist despite being told her dog would be fine.
I mean, I can understand that people really care about their animals and whatnot, but she'd been told the dog would be fine and still needed to come get comfort from Mary, too? What. I don't know, I don't get it, but okay.
Other than that, the evening at work was uneventful. Tomorrow I have to bring Jeremy to school, then go to Tires Plus and have TinyCar™ get looked over and have an oil change, transmission flush & rotate/align the tires. They're looking into a window for the door, too. So hopefully that will be taken care of soon, now that we can afford it. ♥
Anyway, hopefully everyone else is having a decent night. And wow, I just remembered that meme I'm uber behind on. Oh wells.
Goodnight LJ!
