→ geeking out time
Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days is pretty good thus far, Xion is kind of adorable just a bit. I already thought that Roxas was kind of adorable so this just adds to it-but honestly I’m going to end up sick of Axel’s ‘Got it memorized?’ bit sooner or later, I foresee this. :|
To be honest, at first I figured I would get used to the method of camera angles and whatnot but I was getting a bit miffed from them, because it just wasn’t working the way I needed them to/was used to. I don’t enjoy having just one of my L/R buttons to glance around at my surroundings and I hated either setting I placed it on at the time. Also the stylus bit was just not working out for me either. :( But then all of a sudden it was like “OH BY THE WAY IF YOU HATE TYPE A YOU CAN NOW TRY TYPE B SETTINGS, YAAAY” and I was like “Oho fuck yes, let’s check this shit out.” And that was much more to what I’m used to working with, so! That’s all fixed and I’m cool with that now, so it’s all good.
It’s pretty cute and looking to be kind of amusing/interesting in the story and whatnot. The menu isn’t all that different from CoM to me, tbh, and neither is any of the combat style apart from the panels and junk, but that just kind of reminds me of the decks, so yeah. I am giddy for it. :D
Also today is the day of buying Stargate SG-1 season 4 (possibly 5? Idek) DVDs from WalMart. I wouldn’t be buying them so freaking openly if they weren’t just $14.99 for one season of 5 discs in a slim pack, but they are-and uh, they’re freaking STARGATE. The nerd in me just will not let me pass that rack without clinging to it and buying them. But all in all we’re almost halfway through the entire series since there’s only ten seasons. Then we can move onto the movies Stargate: Ark of Truth and Stargate: Continuum. And then go onto Stargate: Atlantis, lol amirite? Ugh, my geekery is showing hardcore. :|
…I might have to talk Jeremy into paying off BioShock2’s preorder. If it’s coming out next year, I mean, I don’t know how much cash we’re have to work that off, unless we just don’t touch our credit card at all or something. Also I kind of want to preorder Final Fantasy XIII which is going to take some prodding at him for that, too, since he’d rather wait until there’s a proper release date for it. But I want to get spiffy things that come with it and kind of have that off my chest. I don’t know, I rather like the preorder. It lets me know I’ll get the game I want without having to worry about breaking my bank further into the future when I know I won’t be able to afford it… Eh, we’ll see.
For now it’s time for food, forgetting nightmares (that I’m not sharing this time since it’s more disturbing than the last one, yay!) and then heading out to the store for necessities and shampoo. (HA. You see what I did there!)
I should bug my mom about seeing if we can go up to Canada again sometime soon. I want to go home for a visit… ;_;
UGH. And I need to replay Eternal Sonata through the second gameplay. Do freaking want Polka and Beat’s other costumes damn it. ;_;
