Jeremy: it's so... wtfish. They're only worried about spending because it's a DEMOCRAT doing it. Bush spent like a motherfucker left and right. People protested him on the war and these issues as well--no news coverage.
Jeremy: no big "OMG check out this AWESOME new movement"
Jeremy: it's so intellectually dishonest to start getting serious about protesting these issues NOW when we've just elected the only government we've had in 8 years who is actually likely to improve things fiscally
Jeremy: I mean, great for the people who want to protest--dissent, let your voices be heard.. but it irks me that a lot of these people have genuine concerns that were FAR more applicable to the government under BUSH, and they've been duped into being outraged about it NOW, for the wrong reasons, by powerful conservative blowhards
Jeremy: and they're adding their heads to the count that will be used by those same, repugnant blowhards to claim that their lies represent the 'real' America
