- The guy that goes to find help, tumbles down a cliff side and breaks both his legs, one in twelve places. He attempts making splints to try and keep going down the mountain, but it fails and he's pretty much boned at that point.
- A rescue copter shows up and saves the two guys on the top of the mountain because of their failure to radio in in the morning, but they think it's from the guy who went ahead to save them.
- Because the third guy wasn't with them at the time, and they think the copter is there for them, he's lost in being rescued for then and has stays another night at the foot of the cliff he fell down, trying not to sleep because of hypothermia.
- His friends are recovering in the hospital when someone comes in to ask one of them what the missing guy (Steve) is wearing and where he might be located on the mountain and it's then that Nigel and Antony (rescued guys) realize that he's still missing.
- There's a search going on, by foot, throughout the mountain by loads of rescue people but they don't think they can find him.
- Steve thinks he's dreaming and hallucinating voices out of no where, and he realizes that he's been found by a few people and he's now being rescued, hooray. He's airlifted to the hospital, spends eight hours in ICU before he gets to see his friends. He has no fingers anymore, his right foot is mostly gone, his left leg is gone beneath the knee and he has a new nose, plus skin graphs.
- Antony lost two fingers and had skin graphs for his cheeks, Nigel all lost his fingers and toes and got skin graphs for his face too.
