Spina Bifida Occulta, YAY!
I went in for xrays a week ago for some back pain, the xray came back looking a little funky (even to my untrained eye)so the doc sent it out to the radiologist for his expert opinion. The results came back, Spina Bifida Occulta, apparently something I've had since before I was born. The xray looks something similar to http://www.wheelessonline.com/images/i1/spnd40.jpg
It doesn't seem to be the cause of the pain however, so next on the list is an MRI, and the spina bifida shouldn't affect me at all as it seems to be a mild case and never deformed me as a child.
